New Teen Driving Program Provides Practical Measures to Save Lives
This behind-the-wheel program for teens and parents entails an 8-hour course taught by police officers who are trained and certified on
how to operate vehicles and react appropriately to emergency situations. The course is designed for teens between the ages of 15 and 19
who are new drivers. The participant must be at least 15 years old with a valid learner or driver’s permit. A parent or legal guardian is required
to attend this course with teens that are between 15 and 19 years of age.
With the generosity of The City of Alpharetta and RBM North the first 3 classes allowed a reduced class fee, if you originally signed up for one of these
classes and had to cancel from original date, we will gladly reschedule you to another date, we will credit amount already paid to future classes.
minimum requirements:
- Any 15+ year old, with a valid learner's permit and 30+ hours of road experience,
Or a valid driver’s permit.
- A parent or legal guardian is required to attend this course with teens 15 to 19.
The first portion of the course entails a 3-hour block of classroom instruction that addressees the causes and attitudes of driving. There is also discussion
covering the importance of vehicle maintenance. After the classroom instruction concludes, these new drivers will meet the following day for the driving
portion of the course. Students learn and practice five practical exercises which teach accident avoidance behind the wheel.
Our Instructors are certified by the Georgia Peace Officers Standards and Training Council as both a General Instructor and a Subject Specific
Instructor in the area of Driver Training. These Instructors work and train students for various Law Enforcement agencies throughout Georgia.
Class Description:
- Class Size - 24 Students, with Two Hands-On Sessions of 12 Students Each
- Class room will be taught at The Alpharetta City Hall on
Friday Evening - 7:00 PM till 10:00 PM
- The Hands-On training Session will be in Braselton, Ga. on the following Saturday.
- Morning session, 8:00 AM till 1:00 PM
- Afternoon Session will be 12:00 PM till 5:00PM
A three hour session Discussion on causes and attitudes of accident pervention.
Discussion covering importance of vehicle maintenance.
Five practical exercises behind the wheel teaching accident avoidance.
PRE-REGISTRATION REQUIRED.
COST: $150.00

We do not refund any registration payments, but we will gladly reschedule you to a new class up until 3 months from the originally scheduled date.
Please call before missing a scheduled class as we are unable to reschedule you if you do not show up for a registered class slot. Court referrals should refer to the court that referred you.
